I did HIIT fasted this am and then supplemented with 5 grams of leucine, plus half a serving of OP Nutrition's BCCA, and half a serving of OP Nutrition's Amino Energy. So I got about 7 grams of leucine with some caffeine and a gram or two of carbs without barfing. I did not add whey. And did so based on the comment below from Kiefer. Should I have included whey as well? It seems like no carbs for sure."No, I'm not if you're on a low-carb plan or phase of one like CN and CBL. What I'm saying is that nutrient regulators of the mTOR pathway are very important even after HIIT. Those are Leucine and glucose. If you're low-carb, then use only the leucine." If you want to keep muscle breakdown to a minimum, post HIIT eat something or take a whey/leucine shake like Kiefer says here: http://dangerouslyhardcore.com/forum/index.php?topic=3382.msg36664#msg36664

Thanks for the link, it helped a lot!
