jrussoMemberHello Everyone,I was on vacation last week for 11 days with no access to email so I could not come on to check in with everyone. Needless to say, the whole 11 days that I was on my vacation I had a boat load of carbs every evening which obviously did not help my cause in losing fat! I actually gain fat or maybe it was severe water retention because I was extremely bloated and not able to fit into my clothes all that well :- Anyways, I have restarted the diet on Sunday with the 10 day prep phase to start over. Am I losing any fat during this time period or strictly water and carb stores? Also, I did buy some coconut oil to have in my coffee and I love the stuff!

Yes, but you will drop mostly water and glyco store at first.Cory

FairyGuestDon't worry, women store EXTRA glycogen and water temporarily when they go back to eating carbs because our bodies are just mad about recouping glycogen stores

jrussoMemberI wish that I never cheated for a full 11 days! huge mistake, but I am back on track and more focused with my carb counting this time around too! So maybe it was a blessing in disguise :-

jrussoMemberYes, I believe that I was over doing them too from the beginning. I was stuffing my face and literally feeling ill to the point of wanting to vomit without actually vomiting. The next morning I was overly bloated and no motivation to do anything at all. I think that I may try cleaner carb loads with meat and french fries and finish the night off with my favorite ice cream or something.

My carb nite will be next Tuesday or I may extend it to Saturday, I havent really made up my mind yet, but do you think that I could possibly start the night off with Cinnamon Toast Crunch with fat free skim milk? That is my all time favorite cereal, but there is fat in the cereal, but not much- I think it is something like 1.5 grams per a serving…
