Hi everyone, I'm new to this cbl and would appreciate the feedback for the supplements i am currently taking. The protein product im taking is called Trutein. It has a blend of whey, casein, and egg whites in it and taste amazing. i take BCAA by optimum and also a multivitamin by them as well. for a creatine i take beast creature pill form. i take cod liver oil and my pre-workout is cellucor c4. I am also thinking about purchasing waxy maize product as well. any feedback is welcomed since im new to this whole process.

Looks pretty good but just a few things from reading the book and what I've learned on the forums:-BCAA is fine if you have it but dont buy more, just get leucine, it's cheaper and is what actually causes the BCAA to spike insuline. Also make sure you are getting 5g of leucine not BCAA-Protein is ok too, consider adding some hydrolysates in there too post workout-creatine pills are fine but you can get the powder much cheaper, bascially whichever you prefer is ok-the C4 is ok preworkout (I take a similar supp) but just know the small amount of carbs and the Ace-K is probably going to spike your insulin a little so fat burning during the workout won't be optimal but if you are more concerned with muscle/strength gains then I'd say roll with it.-fish oil is good just make sure you are getting at least 5g of the DHA/EPA not just 5g of the fish oil itself, check the concentration

As everyone previously said, it looks like a solid start. Just a few comments:1. You're selling yourself short using a name brand blend like Trutein. While it might taste marginally better than a bulk protein, the increased cost is not worth it in my book. For example, a premium flavored Team Skip protein from TrueNutrition is 28.51 U.S. Dollars / kg of protein.  Conversely, Truetein is 42.15 U.S. Dollars / kg of protein. This doesn't include coupon codes at TrueNutrtion like AND028, which can save 5%. (Neither calculated cost includes shipping.) 2. Get creatine in powdered form. Creapure is cheap, mixes in a protein shake fine and has little taste. Pills are just throwing money away in my book.3. As mentioned previously, take a look at hydrolysates. If getting casein hydrolysate, I'd recommend PeptoPro - far less bitter taste. 4. Waxy Maize is absolutely fine as a carb choice. You could also try Karbolyn or a similar product as well. (TrueNutrition has a Karbolyn clone called Karboload) If money is an issue, plain dextrose will absolutely be fine as well. I'd recommend considering a carbohydrate enzyme if you have trouble with gut issues after dextrose consumption.5. For Leucine, I'd also just get bulk powder in lieu of pills. TrueNutrition and others have cheap bulk, instantized L-Leucine that you can add in 3-5g increments to your PWO shake.

Hey guys another question I'm going to order the l-leucine and was wondering if I should take the rest of my bcaa as a mid workout drink n then use the leucine as an after with my pwo or would that be too much and if I should add more of that casein hydro to my already pwo shake.. I kinda don't wanna buy more n not use what I have. Thanks

Feel free to add the Hydro to your existing PWO shake.L-Leucine can also be added in.You can either keep using your BCAAs as you are now, then replace them with L-Leucine when they run out or use the BCAAs elsewhere. I wouldn't take them at the same time as the Leucine, no. I'd personally just use up the remaining BCAAs then switch to the Leucine.

Sounds good power, I think I'll just hold off on buying the leucine until finished

No mid shake. Keep all BCAAs for PWO. Then once you're out keep to Leucine.

+1 with taking the rest of the BCAAs. I started back loading 2.5 months ago and I had a shit ton of BCAA powder so I've just been using that since. Again, just make sure you look at how much leucine is in each serving. You want to get somewhere in the ballpark of 3-5g leucine.

Yea seems better to just try to get 5 grams of my bcaa since its 2.5 of that leucine per serving, and then grab some leucine once finished thanks guys, also anyone kno a good hydro casein I can't seem to find peptopro anywhere..

if you are gonna take the bcaa you want to take 1.5-2 servings to get the benefits of the leucine. isoleucine and valine (the other two amino acids) don't illicit the insulin response that leucine does.

You can purchase PeptoPro here. You can save an additional 5% by using a coupon code such as AND028.
