Hi!  I recently lost 30lbs with a different meal plan and I want to switch to the CNS!  I read the book and I am a little worried as I have a specific workout plan that I do and I am not sure if this will be an issue. My goals are to lean out, lose another 20lbs of fat, gain muscle and get stronger!  Hopefully not asking too much.My workout is this: MWF at 1pm I lift and do TRX - deadlifts, kettlebell swings, TRX and squats.  The TTH workouts are in the pool at 8am - 80% max HR for about an hour. Are my workouts going to screw me up?  Can I do some type of variation?  I am not sure what to do.  Any pointers or advice?  I am excited to get this started...actually today is my first day so any help would be appreciated.

Welcome! With CNS you can keep your workout you're doing. I would opt for a program where you can lift heavy but do what you enjoy and works best for you. Whenever you have your CN, the next two mornings do either a really good HIIT session or high volume workout. It will help deplete glycogen stores/sugar stores from your CN.

Sounds excellent.  Keep relatively heavy on your core lifts like DLs and Squats.I'd limit the pool work to the day or two after a CN, maybe try swimming in HIIT or Tabata style intervals.  2 x 30-minute sessions, or 1 x 60 minute session.Welcome, and best of luck to you.  I've seen excellent results on CNS, as my logs (see my signature) will show.Cory

Ok I realized we are going to Disney next week on vacation so I haven't started yet.  I did however do an experiment last night with CBL and it was great this morning at the gym.  I increased my deadlift!  Can't wait to get back from Disney and start CNS.  Thanks for all the info!

Ok back from FL and I started CNS Saturday.  So far I am good to go.  Today will be my first day back in the gym so we will see how that goes.  Thanks for all the info!

So…I am on day 9 tomorrow and I might have lost 3 pounds.  Good news is I had a PR on my squats this week.  Tomorrow I am riding in a 54 miles on my bike so I might do CN after.  Thoughts?
