mwachtelParticipantStarting out my CBL experiment, bought the book yesterday, and finish in a few hours. Love reading this kind of stuff. STATS: 2nd day of prep phaseHeight: 5' 8 3/4Weight: 166 no water, but glycogen not filled due to previous dieting (not going how I would like)lifts:Bench: 260 (estimated)Squat: 345 (est)Dead: 405I would have previously said I estimate my body fat at 13%, but looking my photo from this morning after some water and a coffee, I am frustrated in saying I am probably closer to 15%, MOTHER%&*#!@Anywayz, 22nd day of prep phase. I want to give this a true go, Im a former fatty who got a lean enough for an 8 pack, then fell off the band wagon, now after 3 months of trying to diet back Im sick of this. Don't know how I'll react to CBL, but here it goes. 0921120756.jpg (26.52 kB, 320x240 - viewed 9 times.)

mwachtelParticipantHeres a pic of me at my leanest.I was, I believe ,155 lbs. I obtained this by compound movements with an interval training style weight lifting primarily, low calorie, low carb, moderate fat, and high protein diet.I hesistate to go back to this style because although it worked, I believe it also effed my thyroid, and honestly isn'tvery fun, and most likely, and more importantly, not very healthy.

Brandon D ChristParticipantI don't think you will get quite as lean as you were using CBL (you will probably have to use modified Carb Nite to get that lean), but you should be able to get down to say 10% where your six pack will pop, all while packing a decent amount of muscle. Why are you doing the prep phase for 22 days? You only have to do it for 10.

mwachtelParticipantMMM its my 2nd day…Im only doing 10, maybe less since I was pseudo carb depleted before I started. I kinda like the idea of coupling carb nite with CBL actually. I remember trying CBL a few months ago, a break for sugar gorging was very welcomed to me. but yea 22 days would not be to fun, I think my leptin levels are all jacked up as it is.
