mr a j dickinsonParticipantHi, I've a question about carb back loading. I'll be training on wednesdays, fridays and sundays at 9amI'm confused by the meal suggestions at the back. Do you ram carbs into you on training days at night when you are not training the next day?Do you hit carbs hard on non training days when you are training the next day as much as the above question? Also when not training on the current day and not training the following day are you just eating fats and protein all day skipping the carb load at night?Any clarity or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)

What are your goals? If you want strength, backload on nights AFTER you lift (despite what you are doing the next day). ULC on off-days.If you are trying to bulk, backload EVERY night, with maybe one exception (like Sunday night), where you just go ULC. In this case, the backloads on off-days should be abbreviated, and not as all-out as the days you train.Cory

mr a j dickinsonParticipantIm 200lbs but would like to be 10lbs less but all lean muscle.Im thinking if I start just backloading after training and stay carb free other nights. then add more backloading nights if I drop below the target weight but still being lean.thanks.

That route will build strength rather than mass, but you should drop fat -- even if slowly. The fastest way to drop fat would be CNS.Cory

For your first meal of the backload, keep it higher in carb, lower in fat. Keep protein per usual. After that, eat what you feel like -- pastries, donuts, cookies, cakes, fries, burgers, pizza, etc.Cory
