So yesterday morning I did some sled work and def just ate carbs after and throughout the day. I want to do a light workout today but am thinking I should just stay ULC to make up for yesterday.My goals are fat loss and strength gain. Would staying ULC today after a light workout today be detrimental or a good idea?
Read the book.Why do you carb-load?To replenish glycogen stores.What uses up glycogen stores? Intense resistance training (or intense exercise).If the "light workout" didn't deplete glycogen stores you have nothing to replenish. The excess carbs will just be stored as fat.
