You have highlighted a statement I made earlier, care to comment? I'm not understanding where ignorance comes into play or why you're so against someone conditionally agreeing with you. I'm not trying to attack you, but far too many people speak in absolutes. So if you feel I crossed a line with said comment, fine, I apologize if the wording was a bit harsh. I still maintain my point though, which again, AGREES with you for the most part.

Yes you ideally backload in the evening after lifting in the evenings. Getting in 500-600g at a time can work but depends on how hard you train and lean. You have to go by that max amount and dial it down if need be. Just do hit 500g if training was half assed. You also have to find which carbs work best for you.

Wouldn't he want to back load on the evenings before he trains?  I thought back loading isn't done for that day's training but for the next day.  So he'd back load Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday so that he has the glycogen stores full for his lifting on m/w/f.

No...just nothe book is only 57 dollars now, go buy

I have the book.  Page 66/67 says that one of the purposes of the back load is to restore glycogen levels to provide energy for the next days lift.... maybe i'm reading too much into that.  I also thought it said outright that off days for cbl are defined differently than most protocols. But don't get me wrong my original thought was you backload only on the days you lift so when i read that i was really thrown off.  I actually hope i'm wrong because it makes it a lot easier to just backload lifting days. 🙂

If your lifting in the mornings then YES you backload the night before. If you lift at afternoon/night you backload that day.
