Hey Guys, So I am new to the forum and I wanted to double check on the gluten issue, During the backload is it ok to include bread if I am almost sure I am not gluten intolerant. Currently between 15 minutes and 30 minutes post training I consume 2 small slices of white bread with some walden farms jam (just trying to finish it off) which is 20g carbs, I dont use dextrose because It doesn't agree with me so I bloat really badly. Second question is after the PWO can I eat things like white bagels, white bread from subway, white tortillas etc? Im currently 6'0 about 168 pounds and my bf is pretty low (six pack, full separations in the quads). Im just looking to cut a little bit more but maintain if not gain muscle then in 2 weeks Im going to backload for my bulk and I wanna have my carb sources down 100 percent before that.

Should be fine if you have no gluten intolerance and don't bloat from it.

Dextrose is the preferred carbohydrate of choice… if you get bloated that is because its super high absorption. Kinda interesting how you say it doesn't agree with you. Did you consume a large amount that led you to this belief? just curious…secondly, white flour products will potentially contain gluten so it's up to you to decide if you want to risk it.  I would say YES you can have bread, but it will be at the expense of your visible abs and nice quad separation.  Gluten can produce inflammation which means "bye bye" abs. It's really up to you... I would say assess your tolerance like you said, but don't make bread a significant player in your back load..  a side dish/appetizer would sufficeBest of luck

Hey man thanks for the reply no I only took 30g of it and day after day I would be bloated and shitty feeling then I started elminating things from my diet to find out what was bloating me and the elimination of the dextrose solved the problem. And ok maybe for 2 days ill do no gluten take pictures and record weight and then do 2 days with gluten (same carb amount as previous days) and take pictures and record weight
