From London…Love CBL..need a bit of carb advice!

    Hi!Reading the book now and starting my 10 day prep phase as of Monday after my birthday! Any advice would be great, am clear on the prep phase, little bit fuzzy about actually back loading and the right and wrong carbs to consume after training..any advice on people who have had great results....thanks!

    Just listened to one of the podcasts, Keifer says to keep it to glucose post work out and save the fructose for later carb meals.  Also on other forums they suggest keep fructose to I believe a 70 gram max.  I'm only in my second backload week of CBL and the people on the forums have been a great help.

    Thanks..yeah you personally…do you have any simple sugars in your PWO shake? I am on whey isolate and hydrolysed mix with eluding and dextrose…thoughts?

    I actually bought “power carb” a name brand carb from my local supplement shop an use about 40 grams (I am doing SA protocals).  Its kinda expensive so this weekend I'm goin out to but just straight dextrose, which seems to be the carb of choice on the forum.  I found a home beer brewing supply store which sells it for about a dollar a pound. Something I also learned on the forums. Hope this helped a little
