One of the main ideas behind CBL and CNS is to shift the bulk of your calories to the PM. So if I am backloading twice a week, and on ULC and Backload days the only meal I am eating before my post-workout shake and dinner is 1 lbs. of 85/15 grass fed beef and broccoli/spinach/or brussel sprouts….would the bulk of my calories in my one mid-day (11-12pm) meal be messing up the general idea of CBL? I need that 1 lbs. of meat midday in order to get adequate protein. Please correct me if I am wrong…

No, it's fine.  As long as you are skipping breakfast, it really doesn't matter when you eat your ULC calories.

ok good! This one big meal is easy as far as my work schedule goes too…and I assume its okay to take in that much protein at once as long as I am getting the proper amount of high quality fats along with it?

Kiefer has previously mentioned that “when” a person takes in protein makes little difference. If it comes from whole foods (steak vs shake) it will sustain your body for a longer period up to 24 hours. The inference in that statement is protein shakes can be used a bit differently as they absorb quicker and therefore not as long lasting I'm guessing here but it may be because they are kind of pre-digested.Regardless, the bulk of daily food intake should be later in the day. Does this square with what others have heard?
