    Do you guys think having leucine and WPI/Hydros pre, intra and post WO on CN are really that detrimental? IT seems like pre workout insulin spikes are avoided at all costs on the forums. Shouldn't you try and squeeze as much anabolism as possible out of the workout and then rely on the after burn to build muscle?

    I don't see what the point of a pre workout insulin spike is.  Maybe if you are on a hardcore mass gaining diet, but for everyone else, I don't see how it could be useful.

    Agreed.  I always wait until at least 1 heavy set has been done to begin intra-workout nutrition.

    Ok thanks guys, and just a few pre workout mixes for low carb that CT reccomends and a few other guys as well included leucine pre workout so I was just wondering if there is any harm

    There is an excellent article on John Meadows pay site about HCBD. Its a good read. May have some T-Nation bias in it but makes sense.
