vane729KeymasterHello all! I have been doing CNS for about 3 weeks now and I have a quick question about the time between Carb Nites. I know Kiefer says that we should do at minimum once a week, but what constitutes one week? Is it no more than 7 days after your last Carb Nite or does it fall within the Monday-Sunday week?I ask because I had my last Carb Nite last Friday night and would like to make my next carb nite this coming Sunday. Is that too many days between carb nites? Will going that long between carb nites derail my progress?Thank you all in advance!

7 days from your last Carb Nite is the general protocol; if your goal is to do carb nite every Sunday then i don't see an issue with delaying carb nite an extra day, but only once of course - Especially if you are going to be training during the week full glycogen stores definitely help lifting. It would kind of be like re-doing the prep phase, if you catch my drift 🙂 cheers!

Well remember, when you are doing carb nite your recovery abilities are not exactly that of CBL protocol. This is why the shockwave protocol is short and sweet and a great choice for CNS. what is your resistance training regimine? You may want to cut your volume in half in the gym and focus on increasing the intensity of your actual "working sets" to compensate.
