Hello, me again!Just on the logistics of the Carb Nite again, it's due next Wednesday but I'm thinking from what I've read it's easier to keep it 7 days apart after if you've greater BF than 12% which I think I do, probably in the 12-15% bracket. So I was wondering for the benefit of continuing to lose fat, to extend my reorientation phase to 13 days so it would fall a week on Saturday and then cycle like that for the foreseeable future. Apart from probably feeling slugish, is there anything wrong with this? Or should I look to Carb up as originally scheduled on Wednesday 17th?

Go with how you feel! Although 13 days is a very long time, if your BF% was low enough you could get away by carb loading the Wednesday and Saturday. I would keep the Wednesday fairly clean with rice potatoes and lean meats and then go all out on Saturday!

13 days is definitely not a big deal particularly if you scale your training appropriately (if applicable). Kiefer has written about keeping his athletes on a reorientation style diet for 2-3 weeks before transitioning into CNS/CBL so you should be sweet.Jason.

Thanks,It certainly doesn't seem to be a big deal at the moment. I'm coping well and training is fine, I usually train with little carbs inside of me so am quite used to that side of things. I have scaled training back to a split routine, lower/upper and not lifted 'so' heavy.I seem to have a lot of energy, ideally I'd like to make my mind up sooner or later on pushing Carb Nite back, mainly so I don't get to Wednesday and start getting excited about smashing loads of carbs in the evening and then not doing so. In reality it's only another 3 days.
