I was hoping people might give me some advice on the PWO shakes for CBL.Currently I've been taking ON's Hydrobuilder with 35g waxy maize and an extra 10g of unflavoured isolate from MyProtein. I'm running out of this pretty soon, and was looking at other options.MyProtein sell PeptoPro Casein and Hydrolysed Whey separately and I was thinking about mixing up my own shake instead. However, I love the taste of the ON Hydrobuilder. As long as you can justify the cost to yourself of ON in the UK, I don't see any reason why it couldn't be a part of your PWO shake.
Cheers for the replies 🙂Think I'm going to mix up my own - with PeptoPro the cost is only a little bit cheaper since that shit is expensive. I just hope this concoction doesn't taste like aids.
Only thing that is negative about ON is the price, lol.
. I can attest to that.. I am using ON ProComplex for my PWO mixed with dextrose. I just paid $65 for the 5lb container. My last one lasted about a month and it did taste really good. I've read on here that keifers blend tastes like ass. I try and make up for it by buying my dextrose from a local home beer brewing store for only a dollar a pound.
Yeah ON's stuff does taste pretty amazing… that's the main thing stopping me from blending my own. If I have to drink it everyday, I would prefer it to be a little tastier. The main thing that turns me off from something like Hydrobuilder is that I can never know the degree of hydrolyzation / individual quantities of each protein in the blend.Decisions, decisions.
