It's got nothing to due with inferior sources of protein.Whey has one of the (if not the) highest BV value of any protein. We avoid cheese due to some people having an intolerance to it which can cause stalling, and also Kiefer has discussed cannabinoids in dairy products causing over eating due to the changes to satiety signaling. Also, many people don't think about the carbs in cheese and it can cause you to go over board depending on the rest of your diet.
The intolerance will either be to casein or lactose.Whey and casein or the two milk proteins, a whey protein wont have casein in it. (You can get blends with both)Lactose is largely, if not completely removed from whey isolate during the processing.Just like butter has basically no casein or lactose.
True, false? Thoughts? Why are we avoiding cheese and then taking whey shakes? It doesn't really add up.
FALSE!Dairy protein is animal sourced (obviously), and very superior. Whey is one of the most highly bio-available, complete proteins on the planet, second only to eggs (the incredible, versatile egg).I am Lacto-Ovo, and my entire diet is based around dairy protein / egg protein... I had success with CNS, and all of the muscle I carry is from my Lacto-Ovo diet.Cory
