Has anyone ever used this site/store for anything?http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/I've been gandering on there for about an hour just looking etc. They offer free shipping for orders over $25 and they also have a store which is about 15mins away from me.What are their prices like?  I'm still new to the USA and they appear to be dirt cheap with comparison to Australian stores...I was thinking of getting some:http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/p/sequoia-fitness-products-warrior-digital-body-fat-caliper-1-caliper/sx-1004http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/p/bodytech-creatine-monohydrate-100-pure-5-gm-32-oz-powder/vs-1337http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/p/allmax-nutrition-aminocore-fruit-punch-blast-400-g-powder/xq-1030oh... and also some protein powder which i havent settled on...so... thoughts?cheers 🙂

I would save your $25 on the BF_calc. Those are largely inaccurate. I have shown a change of 5% on the one I wasted money on in about 5 seconds by chugging a bottle of water.

How big was the bottle?  lolSeriously though, what can I measure with if you think they are dogshit?

Use a tape measure and dont stress a (#). If you want accurate BF% locate the Athletic Department at a local univeristy and get Under Water testing. Its the most accurate. I have had it dont a few times it only costs $30 where im at. The bottle was just a standard 16.9fl oz bottle. Point is hydration levels, water in your stomach, food in your stomach, oil on your skin, among other things can sway those little Electrostatic tests.

I have those calipers and while I use them they are Not very consistent. Doing it 3 times back to back with all different numbers.

I'm with CBach. My bathroom scale has the "ability" to do BF% and it's hilarious. It will change 3-6% from before a shower, to after a shower.Also.. the best measure of progress, in my opinion: Pictures.

+1 aside from UWW testing pictures and the ol' tape measure have the win for me.

I am a huge fan of price comparisons online. Check pricing on Amazon for comparison. I checked the caliper and creatine...caliper was cheaper on amazon and creatin was the same price. You could also try going through ebates...might get a better deal that way.

I'd throw a DXA scan in there too. Perhaps I'm biased cuz I just made an appointment for one at the end of my current "phase" Ha.. It doesn't really matter, but I'm too damn curious about numbers. As for on topic: Yeah, I've heard nothing but goodness about Vitamin Shoppe, as far as being reliable and a reputable business, anyway.

DXA's are good, but they generally cost a shit load when you can get just as relevant information from a UWW.
