Marty P KochParticipantHey guys,Thank you all for your input. I am with you that I want to try to fix this without having to do HRT/TRT. Even if it's something I can put off for a bit, I'd prefer to do that. I'm hoping that in the next 4 months, I can drop 50 pounds, which would put me in the 220-230 range. Since you guys did ask, I am going to a psychologist for the past 6 weeks, and it's helping me out tremendously. Any other supplement recommendations you guys have, please let me know. I am taking 10,000 IU's of Vitamin D3 If the 10K IU is in one softgel, then taper back to 2K once you finish it out or when you get to the 50ng/mL level whichever comes first. I understand that you cannot really reach a toxic level per Mauro diPasquale, but all the same... Also, I cannot stress enough to check your levels vs just blindly megadosing. I've been on 5K IUs for about 6 mos. and my level just topped out at 100ng/mL so i am going down to 2K and then retest in another 4 mos or so. Anything from 50ng/mL up to 80ng/mL or so is good. Reasonably priced bloodspot testing is available online thru ZRT labs if your doc won't authorize the bloodwork. , 400-600 MG of Chelated Magnesium Great call on the chelated versions. I take the Millenium Sport ZMK which is a multi-mineral formula ALL of which are chelated. Dosing on the magnesium as a stand-alone should be 6.8mg/kg of bodyweight per The Magnesium Miracle literature also espoused by Mike Mahler. , 100 MG of Chelated Zinc (just started this one) Zinc should generally be fine at 50mg, Shippen, Testosterone Syndrome, so may be overdoing it a bit at this level. Also, Zinc should be paired with Copper in a ratio of 2micrograms Cu/50mg Zinc as the Zinc will deplete your Cu. , and just started taking in 5 grams of EPA and 5 grams of DHA with Carlsons Finest Fish Oil.

Dr. Rocky PatelParticipantFor the mood issues, get checked for MTHFR Gene mutation. If you carry one or 2 of the genes, it can make it harder to produce proper neurotransmitters in the brain. It can be improved by taking L-methylfolate: OTC http://www.amazon.com/Thorne-Research-5-MTHF-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate-1mg/dp/B001PLESO2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1352177108&sr=8-5&keywords=l-methylfolateor RX Deplin http://www.deplin.com
