I've never made an 18-egg omelet, but when I was in India over the summer, I gained about ten pounds of fat from the mountains of rice served to me at each meal.  During the last week of the trip, I requested that my hosts stop including me in the local cuisine and and serve me only eggs and boiled vegetables.  I often received as many as six scrambled eggs (cooked in ghee) at a time, and I dropped five weeks of rice weight inside of a few days.

Yep.  I eat eggs like a madman, and it does not affect my results in any adverse way. That omelet was kick-ass.  As I recall it was:18 eggs, various fresh cheeses (cheddar, brie, jarlsberg, monterey jack, muenster...) + mushrooms.  Cooked in butter, w/ heavy cream mixed into the eggs.  Salted & peppered.Cory

And that is why you're my hero.  😉

LOL.It definitely taught me one thing:  I need bigger fucking plates.Cory

Wow, 180g of protein.  Before I started my 10 day prep phase I was doing between 175 and 190 a day, but isn't 180 high for a keto diet?  Yesterday was my first day on the prep phase and I only got 130g of protein (I'm 204 with a goal of 170-175), is that too low or right for the prep phase?

Not when you weigh ~180 lbs in lean mass like I do.  LOL.Most days I get in ~1.3g x LBM, but that day was quite high.  I just felt like I needed it, and felt better after I ate the huge omelet.  I had a killer lifting session the next morning.  ;D135-140g a day is about right for your goals, at a minimum.Cory
