Anyone else buy Arnold's new autobiography, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story ? If so what did you think about it?It came out Oct 1, I heard on the news it only sold something like 20, 000 copies its first week, which was a let down. I was surprised it didn't sell more. Arnold put a lot of marketing and publicity into the book.
I was thinking about buying it and I may buy it in the future. I am surprised it didn't do well, maybe his scandal hurt him?
If he wanted big sales then he released it too soon. He should have waited another year or until after a new movie or two.I will probably get it for Christmas.

I agree, it was released too early, especially with all of these movies he's doing now. I though the book (only have 200 pages left out of 600) was entertaining and inspirational. Not just about bodybuilding, but about all he was able to accomplish, even at an early age. Makes me feel like a bum and a failure.

I read Education of a Bodybuilder, which was a really good book. He did have a pretty interesting life.

I read it as well. Total Recall, adds more detail, obviously, and doesn't mention some of the stuff he did in Education of Bodybuilder. Makes sense considering Arnold's latest book is geared towards everybody and not just the bodybuilding/weightlifting world. Arnold doesn't hold any punches in this book and I'm actually a little surprised by the amount of cursing he uses.
