nolan philpottParticipantCreatine prep and absorption;I've read that creatine won't absorb as efficiently if it's not dissolved in warm/hot water first. True or False? For those interested in reading more, this came from Will Brink - he seems fairly clued up.Creatine resistance. This is something I haven't read up about in a while. Way back when, I recall reading up about creatine-monohydrate and being resistant or probably more accurately 'less receptive' to its effects, for some people more than others(Up to 30% of people taking creatine will experience no effect whatsoever, apparently). I've been told that elements in green tea, ALA and cinnamon(dubious) can help its uptake: - is cellular resistance an "across the board" phenomenon, for example, if you're insulin resistant are you most likely wasting your time with creatine or does its uptake all depend on other factors -I assume(Dangerously asinine) that endocrinological regulation(going keto - prep/reorientation phase) will reduce cellular resistance and heavy resistance training will also help assimilation, along with fish oil or course - true or false?Creatine Monohydrate vs Creapure(micronized monohydrate) - allegedly creapure(Monohydrate by a german company called Alz Chem) contains less creatinine than your average monohydrate. Blah, blah, blah i'm getting bored now. If you want to read more about creatine look at the links below.Personally I do take creapure but that's because I get it filthy dirty cheap and I like the addition of the word "pure" on the end - makes me feel as though i'm leaping majestically thru a meadow in chinos and a white shirt towards a buxom brunette sprawled conveniently on fresh linen. For more paralysis by analysis on creatine - http://www.brinkzone.com/bodybuilding/the-creatine-grave-yard/and also - http://www.brinkzone.com/articles/whats-in-your-creatine/NB I don't know Will Brink but he seems to know his stuff on supplements and studies of them.
