LumberJackedMemberPosted from logWell today puts me on exactly 1 month of my CBL SA experiment and I've got to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the results.Measurements from 1-11-12Weight: 92.5-93kg~Waist: 35"Arm: 15.5"(R) 16"(L)Glute: 41"Chest: 42"Shoulder: 50"Quad: 23"(R) 24"(L)Calf: 15"(R) 15.5"(L)Measurements from 30.11.12Weight: 94.5kgWaist: 34.75" Arm: 16"(R) 16.25"(L)Glute: 41.25"Chest: 42.5"Shoulder: 52"Quad: 24.5"(R) 25" (L)Calf: 15.5"(R) 16" (L)Total ResultsWeight: +1.5kgWaist: -.25"Arm: Right + .5" Left + .25"Glute: + .25"Chest: +.5" (No direct chest work)Shoulder: +2"Quad: Right +1.5" Left +1"Calf: +.5" Left/RightStrength Results:Back Squat: 160kg > 180kgFront Squat: 140kg > 150kgFull Snatch: 50kg~ > 72.5kgC&J: 90kg > 100kg~ (Haven't retested properly)Push Press: 100kg > 100kg x 5 The first picture at 93kg I was actually a bit pumped after doing some light back/shoulder work. Thanks Tex, but no need to envy, just keep plugging away at it and you'll reach your goals. You know, I know, heck everyone here should know that CBL/CN works and it works pretty darn well. Stick to it, lift heavy things and prepare to grow!

Geez, you're a nugget Sckiely! I may have 4.5kg on you but I've also got near 20cm's on you! I come in at about 187cm.

I'm glad I can provide some help one way or another, through advice or some motivation, it's all good. You're probably the first person I've ever seen make a sad face about being 10% hahaha. Find what's working for you, stick with it and don't change it until something stops working, this stuff takes time.

LumberJackedMemberForgot to add the mandatory leg comparison. Not the best as it's not exactly the same pose, but eh, close enough.

Thanks Fairy, gotta say I'm pretty pleased with the results so far. I was expecting to be the same weight honestly but I'd seen that I had got a bit leaner, which in itself is good anyway but the extra 1.5kg is gravy!

An ex-powerlifter that is now competing in weightlifting for the foreseeable future. I last tested my bench at 160kg @ 95kg, but I haven't benched in months.

jerryiiiGuestVery impressive gains for just one month. How long had you been training prior to starting? The weights you are moving are substantial, so I can't imagine your new to strength training. The body comp change is great. But I'm more impressed with the large increases in strength in such a short time.

LumberJackedMemberI've been training for about 4 years now, this year would be the 5th but I re-slipped my L4/5 at the start and spent 3/4 of this year watching all of my numbers drop until I couldn't unrack 60kg. After my back stopped causing issues I had my right ankle completely reconstructed after rupturing 3 ligaments, and having to relearn how to walk on it, which was done about 12~ weeks ago now.Don't look "too" much into the strength increases as it's really just strength I already had coming back and is in all honestly much much less than I was previously used to doing. For reference;Post Surgery Best;Back Squat: 180kgClean Deadlift: 220kgBench: N/A (I did do 100kg x 10 for fun once)Snatch: 72.5kg (75kg ugly power snatch)C&J: 100kgPre-Surgery Best;Back Squat: 180kg x 11, 245kg x 1Deadlift: 220kg x 6, 255kg x 1Bench: 100kg x 27, 160kg x 1Snatch: N/AC&J: 115kg (More of power clean + push press)As you can see, I'm a long way off what I was.I also mentioned in my log but when I did the "after" shot I must've been quite dehydrated and/or depleted as I weighed in yesterday morning at 96kg with the same level of leanness, though a touch water retentive due to some digestive issues.

jerryiiiGuestAhh, that makes a lot of sense now. Hope your recovery is going well and you get back to (and exceed) your previous PRs.
