mhellemKeymasterAs to what my body fat % might be? If anyone could get me in the ballpark it would be awesome.I'm also curious if i'm lean enough to incorporate 2 CN's a week. 4-6 days after my CN I'm really starting to feel pretty sluggish in the gym.unflexed frontflexed frontunflexed backflexed back

Jas0nGuestDepends what your goals are but I honestly don't think that you are lean enough and carry sufficient LBM to warrant 2 full CNs if you are still looking to lean out. Maybe a CN every 5th-6th day/transitioning to CBL (if you are willing to do potentially considerable tweaking) will be a better idea?

mhellemGuestThat is another dillema I've been trying to make my mind up on. I'd like to get 10% BF or close to it before trying to bulk up a bit, but have been wondering if I should start that now. If I were to put on say 10 pounds of muscle or more, would it be easier to get down to a lower BF%?Would it be a good idea to switch to CBL now for that, then hop back to CNS when I put on more muscle?

jerryiiiGuestWhat are your goals? You are lean but lacking muscle mass. If you are looking to just get shredded regardless of LBM just continue CN as you have been. If you want to put on some size and maintain your level of leanness consider switching to CBL SA and find a good strength training program.

mhellemGuestWhen its all said and done, I'd def like to be shredded, with more muscle mass. Once I lost the weight I have, I wasnt sure where to go with it. Keep cutting, or bulk then cut again.Seems the common consensus may be to bulk for a bit then keep cutting?

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorAt the point you are at now I think you'd be better off with a slow re-comp using CBL.You aren't fat by any means, you just lack the muscle mass to look really shredded without looking emaciated.I think if you moved to CBL and backloaded 2-4 times a week for 6-12 months depending on how you look and feel that you will have a better body comp then if you just follow the whole "cut and bulk cycle".

Damon AmatoParticipantI'd guess 15-17%.

tzanghiParticipantYou may already be 10-12%, but as stated above, you lack LBM to be defined. Don't try to “bulk.” Just try to hit your numbers in the gym with progression. If that takes weight gain(which it likely will), then gain weight. If you can do it without gaining weight for a while, do so. Just make sure increasing the weight on the bar is your top goal.

mhellemGuestThanks for the replies guys. I have had a feeling for a while now that it was time to put on some more LBM. Your input has been the reassurance I've needed I guess.Just finished downloading the CBL book. Time to start reading!

Cory McCarthyMemberI'd guess 15-17%.
My guess is more like 13-15%, but in dire needs of a re-comp. CBL SA sounds optimal for him.Cory

+1 if yo even stayed at your current bodyfat and increased muscle mass you would look way closer to your goal in my opinion!

+1. If you had more lean mass, at that current b/f%, you'd see better definition all around.Cory

mhellemGuestI agree, and am going to get on the CBL. Your guy's feedback is very much appreciated.Whats the SA in CBL SA stand for?
