Actually that can be highly recommended to do on a CN.

Would it also be 5g for every meal during CN like in the PWO shake?

You could add fish oil to get rid of the leucine taste.  ::)

The powder form sounds like it might ruin carb night . . . what is the disadvantage of pill form . . cost? What else should we know about taking L-Leucine with our carb nite meals . . this seems like a really interesting possibility!  Also do I assume correct that perhaps unlike with CBL, with CNS the whole purpose of the carbs is just to spike insulin  . . or do the carbs serve some other metabolic purpose as well (I know they are enjoyable .. . and that in in itself seems pretty important) . .  I am sort of curious at least in theory about things other than carbs that will spike insulin . . I had read before that Branch Chain Amino Acids Spike insulin . .  L-Leucine is a BCAA, correct? would there be any advantage of taking a BCAA supplement in addition to L-Leucine with CN meals?

Yesterday I had my first time with Leucine and it was awesome  8)I could feel how insuline was boosted and it felt a little like the start of carb nite.  ;DAlthough the taste was really awful..

If I understand Kiefer correctly, it's just the Luecine that spikes insulin and the other 2 BCAAs don't.
