    Define breaking the fast.  Do you mean it stops fat burning or prevents muscle catabolism?  Because in the book, in reference to the AM Accelerator shake, he writes: "This ideal fat-burning formula...."  (p 124).

    Preventing mTOR from down regulating.The AM shake is great because it can prevent mTOR from down regulating plus give fat burning a boost.

    Kinda over thinking it too. If you're pushing a meal past 12 hours go ahead and have a ULC whole food meal or the AM Shake. It's a debated topic, but finding what works for you is the key
