Lately I've been getting my daily MCT/Coconut Oil through coffee. I'll go to the coffee place, grab an Americano, squirt some MCT in it, and stir it up. Head to the gym with that and I'm feeling pretty great. However....MCT oil seems to weaken the lids on the coffee cups  and they crack easily (spilling coffee) - Also, bought a thermos w/ tight lid so I can shake up some mct/butter/coffee while I'm on the go... I have noticed that the rubber stopper on the lid has become weak and is falling apart. It's only a few weeks old, if that. Anyone noticed anything like this?

Don't get any in or on your condoms, then.  ;DSorry, had to.  Anyhow, on a serious note:Nope, never had experience with this.  Often, I just eat the oil and drink the coffee (not necessarily in that order)... luckily, with the current NYC temps, my coconut oil gels up.  Easy to eat right off the tablespoon.Cory

I've had coconut oil desolve the ink from a plastic coffee mug.

Yes.  When I first bought MCT oil and added a tablespoon to a fresh, hot, steaming XL coffee from Dunkin, within 10 minutes the styrofoam cup started dissolving.  I was out $3.50 and ended up with a scalded hand…It also dissolved the lettering on my measuring spoon when some got on my thumb and transferred to it.I use it in my Bubba Keg coffee cup and haven't had any issues with it... yet...

Yes, i have this issue with lids from my coffee shop (lid cracking). Otherwise I stick with stainless steel or ceramic vehicles for my coffee/fat

Bummer. I have one of these: http://www.shopstanley-pmi.com/product/10081On my way to the gym I'd get it filled with an Americano, add MCT and shake. The MCT has dissolved the rubber seal at the opening you drink from. 🙁 Any other ideas for containers?
