vandelay87MemberFirst week of 531. I was able to do 11-12 reps on my last set of each workout. wondering if I'm working too light of weights. First two sets were cake. normal? Or should I try to find new PR's?Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2

SantisuaGuestIt's fine, finish the cycle as prescribed with the weights you determined. Next cycle just add 10lbs to your training maxes and go at it again. You'll be fine. You want to make weight training a lifetime thing so who cares about starting off a 'tad' too light eh? Keep up the good work

Wendler believes in starting out light. I agree with him too because most people think they are stronger than what they actually are. However, you must still focus on the sets. Even though the weight is light, give the reps all you got. This is how you build explosiveness.

+1 another situation to say, go back and read his book. Thoroughly explains his method to his madness

WojoMember+1 Be patient and keep going for rep PR's. Like Wendler says…be smart and pick your battles every week.
