I know 0.5 g of fat for each 1lb of target bodyweight has been mentioned in post / tubecasts and interviews, but Kiefer said he wrote that in the book. Can someone point me to where it is mentioned in the book?I have skimmed through but can't find it.ThanksZaf

That's about what the meal plan calories end up at.It's part experimenting. I can't eat that little, I have no energy to lift and hardly even enough to work so I eat close to 1:1 in grams although I don't know exact macros.

Ah OK.It's just he said in Carbnite I told people eat x amount.I thought how did I miss that.Even the meal plans are a fair bit higher than recommended starting amount

If I recall correctly he said that he told people to eat 1:1 fat/protein calorically, which would roughly come out to .5/1g fat/protein

He did say this, but he also said he will change it based on needs. I know my results are better and I feel better closer to 1:1g.fat:protein.

Me too, I just end up getting hungry sooner if I get about .5:1.

Thanks for all the replies. In the last Biojacked it was the clearest.Start with equal calories for fat and protein based on 1g of protein per lbs target bodyweight. This will "rip" the fat from your body but the kcals may be too low so you work up from there. What I was actually asking was "Was that recommendation actually written in the book and if so what page"If it was an update then cool, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't one of those people who was doing the diet wrong cos they couldn't read.  ::)
