Walnuts are almost all omega 3 and they are the only nut I eat abot 1 oz a day or every second day
I don't think that is true ("almost all omega 3"), but the N6:N3 is about 2:1 so it really is right what you want for ratio. IIRC, macadamia nuts are pretty close to that (? N6:N3 ~3-4:1). Other nuts have higher ratios, so better as small snack/condiment portions rather than a big handful, along with an otherwise rich omega 3 diet.Raw vs. roasted? The polyunsaturated fats (omega 6, omega 3, etc.) are so unstable (oxidizable) with heat, that raw is the way to go. One of the same reasons that seed oils are so bad, super high N6 and heat unstable.
