mmullen1488KeymasterI am going to start up a new workout routine. Mostly consisting of cardio 5 days a week and lifting 3 days a week. I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind to post their 3 day lifting splits to give me some ideas. I tend to always kind of do the same workout routines. I am currently staying away from deadlifts and barbell squats do to bulging discs. I am open to some advice on lower back days and squat days that I could supplement instead of deadlifts (which I love) and squatting.I appreciate it.

Hypers and reverse hypers could be good.Pistol squats might be an option for squating. Lunges too.Why so much cardio?

mmullen1488GuestWell normally I warm up with a mile or two before I lift or do the stairmaster before or after my lifting. I am training for the Spartan Races and the Toughmudders. I am signing up for an underground cave run obstacle course which depending on the wave I sign up for is from 4 – 16 miles. I've ran some of these runs before, the 5k ones but have gone on 21 mile rucks and distance runs before just got out of the groove since I am no longer in the military lol.I'd like to do abs and cardio each day, but different forms. Whether it is outside running, trails, treadmill, bike, or stair master interval training.
