I'm a college student at 6'2, 240. I want to cut some fat using Carb Nite. This is my first week on using the shocked protocol and I lift mon-fri at about 7 every morning and I like to throw in some swimming. After workout I usually have about 2 raw eggs some chicken and maybe a muscle milk shake. Lunch is salad with lots of meat then dinner is usually something along the line of chicken breasts with some greens. I was thinking about having my CN on a Sunday but thats when I don't workout. Would this be ok or should I change it to another day? Thanks
First I would drop the muscle milk in the morning. Muscle milk has a quite a few carbs and you want to keep your carbs as close to zero as possible. Even if you are staying under 30 a day you don't want to go over 10 in a meal and I know the muscle milk protein powder has 12 carbs once you subtract the fiber.Chicken isn't the best keto food unless its higher fat with the skin.I do my carb nite on a day I don't workout and the results are great so far. Do you have a lot of muscle mass to begin with?
