I watched the video Kiefer posted on youtube. Just a few question for anyone who has done it.Should i cut out salt during this final week?Should i cut out creatine?Should i continue to follow the carbnite diet?
This is my 2nd go on carbnite. I did 8 weeks, then fell off all of December. I started again Jan 1st and im down 18lbs so far this month. Id like to get down to 203-205lbs by the "water week" the last week before the meet which is march 2nd. Currently 213lbs, competing at 198lbs march 2nd.
If you have to compete at 198 then yes I'd cut creatine a bit more than a week out. I'd cut sodium about 2 days before weighing in. I would advise against cutting to 198 if this is your first meet. If you do cut, do your research and get a really solid water loading and cutting plan and an equally solid rehydration plan. Putting the weight back on is just as important as making weight.
