Aussie noob coming from simple low carb lifestyle

    Hi everybodyI'm a 28, soon to be 29 year old female from Western Australia.I've been living a low carb lifestyle for about 10 years which started off as pure Atkins and then I tweaked it over the years to reduce dietary fat and include some carbs from limited dairy and fruit sources. During this time I have not once (knowingly) eaten any bread, pasta, sweets, starchy vegetables, high fructose fruits, grains, soft drinks, etc of any sort. I've never fallen off the wagon.This lifestyle worked for me so I thought. But looking back on my 'skinny' photos I see now I was bone thin, no muscle and I was always tired and weak. Then over the past 2 or so years I've started to gain body fat. I'm not fat or much overweight at all, but some of my clothes no longer fit, I have a roll of tummy that I can pinch, legs are starting to look a bit dimpley etc. I believe my body fat percentage is too high although I may look like I only have about 5 kilos (approx 10 pounds) or so to lose.I've just read CNS and it is contrary to everything I've believed in for the past decade. It will be difficult psychologically and my partner is a skeptic and does not think I will go through with CN when it comes around. Anyway, I have so many questions to which I'm trying to find the answers in this forum before annoying fellow users but it would be great if someone could help me out with the following:1. What is MCT when talking about oil?2. What does SA mean when referring to CBL?3. What does PWO stand for re protein powders?4. I've read the book as I pointed out above but no mention is made of issues like fasting in the morning or slipping breakfast etc. Are these concepts in one of the other books5. Is there a thread to discuss meal plans or food in general while on CNS - I couldn't see one unless its just all wrapped up in the books/products thread. This is where I think I'll need most guidance initially.Thanks for listening.Nicole

What does PWO stand for re protein powders?Post Workout4. I've read the book as I pointed out above but no mention is made of issues like fasting in the morning or slipping breakfast etc. Are these concepts in one of the other booksYou can fast up to 12-14 hours. I wouldn't go without a whole food meal past 14 hours from your last meal.5. Is there a thread to discuss meal plans or food in general while on CNS - I couldn't see one unless its just all wrapped up in the books/products thread. This is where I think I'll need most guidance initially.The CNS book has a lists of foods you can have while eating ULC. Plus a list for sugar alcohols to avoid. Plenty of information amongst the forums, have to search a bit.Thanks for listening.Nicole
