From my understanding, fat is not related to heart disease and that bundle of diseases. (okay get that)Outside of coconut oil vs olive oil studies I can't seem to find anything that has proof that saturated fats are better than unsaturated fats on an overall conclusion. So to someone that isn't physically active their diet should still be mostly unsaturated fats with a low intake of saturated fats.So the only reason the CBL diet is so specific around saturated fats is because its the source of fuel? Saturated fats are better than unsaturated fats because they are a quicker form of energy? So wouldn't saturated fats be better earlier in the day and unsaturated fats better at night. Basically my friends think I'm killing myself with my daily multiple cups of coffee and coconut oil, and me only eating eggs/bacon/beef(with DAT butter) and only the occasional non-red meat. I'm just starting to question how healthy I really am eating in the long run.I can't question if the diet makes me look better and feel stronger, because it is working. But some days I just question if me cheating the system is going to come back and slap me in the face.

Saturated fats are much harder to store in fat cells that other fats, they are much more available for energy, red meat is full of vitamins and mineral and a highger fat diet leads to better insulin sensitivity. This is well documented in all of kiefer's references, Dr.D pasquale's Anabolic diet references and many others. If your worried get your cholestrol checked, I guarantee its either normal or optimal if you have been following this diet for a decent amount of time

Saturated fats are more stable and are hard to oxidize and they are difficult to store.  Polyunsaturated fats go rancid and oxidize quickly.  Monounsaturated fats (oleic acid in particular) are the easiest fat to store.  The conclusion is saturated fat is sort of like the "base fuel" as far as fats are concerned.  The other fats are needed, but it is best to consume a modest amount and use saturated fats as the filler to your fat needs.
