Hi all,I'm sure there might been someone else who asked this question but I can't find anything and thanks in advance to those who help so here's the question...Provided I need to take in 130g based on the 1g per pound of bw, is that 130g of actual protein ie a 100g rump contains roughly 30g actual protein or simply 130g of any protein source so in this case 130g rump?Again thanks in advance.Ps: yes have read the book but still sitting confused and have searched other forums but alas there seems to be no clear answer

I wasnt 100% sure on either but it did seem more logical that 100g steak wouldnt be 100g of protein which is what I was finding on other forums (that is that 100g of steak/chicken/fish/pick a protein source was equal to 100g of protein)I now know for certain - and not just fro m k0sTi - as at my diet lecture the following day this very thing was discussed.

I would suggest you no longer visit those other forums or take advice from those people.

LOL, this program may be easy once you look back at it, but in the beginning it can be a pain for sure.  Trying to learn all the lingo and ensuring your diet is rock solid so as to not screw with your fat burning engine throughout the day can get stressful.  If you haven't, buy the book, it's a wealth of knowledge and it points you in all the right directions.  Best $50.00 bucks I've spent in a long time.

well unfortunetly those sites do exist and have some great information outside of the stuff on here, I do agree however there are some discussions that incorrect and hence the clarification I sought on here....there is still a lot of incorrect information in a course I am currently doing and I only know different because of my background

thanks and agree, have bought the book but that was a remaining question which isn't discussed in the book...All in all, good forum on here but it would be nice if the sarcasm was left for those who were being blatant idiots...
