linsayKeymasterHi everyone!I am new to CBL and CNS, but not new to the training and dieting world. I was a powerlifter and a figure athlete, but am now just looking to maintain a healthy, lean body.Too many years of contest prep and overtraining has left me metabolically damaged, so even strict diet and consistant training I can not seem to lose that last 5-10 pounds of fluff. My stats:age 32 Female5'1116 lb - my goal is to get back down between 108 - 112I want to start with 6-8 weeks of CNS and then move toward CBL once I get leaner. I like to base my diet on calories, so what would be a good base line to start from for ULC days? As for carb days would it be best to stay within that set range and just move the macros around, or is that day an overall higher caloric day.As for workouts : 5 x per week - 2-3 HITTS and high intensity weights 4x per week. Thanks!!

ShaunTXParticipantEveryone will point you to this:http://eattoperform.com/eat-to-perform-calculator/It's a good place to start. I would guess that puts you up around 1700-1800...how many did you used to eat?

ShaunTXParticipantWhat macro breakdown? You should have access to the CNS Member Logs. I'm not sure if you've bought the book or not to unlock some of the CBL forums, but you'll see with many of the women on here, once they started upping their cal intakes closer to what that calculator suggests they started seeing better workouts and losing more fat.Feed the machine....

(45.3total - 16g fiber = 29.3)total: 1201 kcalam: Coffee w/ whipping cream2:00pm PWO : shake : whey powder/unsweetend almond milk/peanut buttermid afternoon: 4oz chicken / 3 oz red peppersnack: 1oz cashewsDinner: 2 oz chicken/ 150g eggwhites/ 1 whole egg/ 3 oz asparagus/ 2 oz mushrooms/2 oz spinachsnack: 12 oz cucumbers / 1 tbsp almond butterThere you have it...please feel free to offer any feed back. I have a feeling from reading some of the other logs that nuts and nut butters are a bit of a no no...?

ShaunTXParticipantNuts/nut butters aren't optimal, but I have used almonds especially when eating ULC to get calories up. You are going to need to increase your fats to get cals up.Looks like you workout in the mornings?
