I've been doing a lot of reading on the NO boosters Agmatine and Citrulline because I have a lot of both at my disposal and wanted to see how they impacted insulin. From what I can gather, most supplements that boost NO levels also boost insulin levels. Is specific, Agmatine "enhances insulin production, leading to an enhanced insulin response." (Article here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jrod17.htm). So from what I can tell, it increases insulin levels, but it also increases insulin sensitivity.Since NO boosters also increase nutrient transport to an extent, would I be better served to take either of these right before my backload to help absorb all of the nutrients instead of taking them preworkout for a pump? If I continue taking them preworkout, how will it impact my results?Any insight would be helpful, and I'll keep searching and post what I find. Thanks!
