So I am one of the rare morning lifters…and I was curious what the masses think about morning lifting (4:40) and then a post work HIIT session (15:45) then protein shake at 16:30 before ulc dinner or backload at 18:00-18-30Any thoughts??

Why do not just switch it? I wouldn't see a problem but that seems very counter productive.

Well the problem is my gym gets stupid busy after work and it would take me forever to get a lift in, that's why I go in the morning! And I can do hiit training on the streets….

HIIT before lifting, not after. After will shut off some hypertrophy pathways where if done before it can enhance hypertrophy

Once per week at best  đŸ˜›Actually now that i think about it, prolly once in the last month... The only time i try and do HIIT is the day after carbs to shed the excess fluid

i like to do HIIT as a challenge rather then a fat loss protocol, meaning ill try and beat my reps or speed or time i do my HIIT every week for example i used to sprint 50meters do 10 burpees then sprint another 50m then 5 burpees, i built it up to 15 burpees and 10m then i was wrecked, it adds fun to your program, and i used to TRY and do it BEFORE i lifted, if not i would do a heavy metcon after lifting

I currently do it twice a week, I feel better keeping conditioning up.Here soon I'm gonna start doing it 6 days per week for a 3-week stint.

I have been forsaken by the gym gods and have tendinitis in my wrist which means i cant do upper body or lower body so i am being forced to do HIIT to keep my mentality by going to the gym..
