I'm finding it hard to believe I am going to be able to get in half of my baseline carbs after my post-workout.  I finish my workout at 3:30 p.m. and will have my post-workout at 4.  Hight gylemic dinner at 5, and 8-9 junk, like homemade choco chip cookies, maybe a bake potatoe.  But when I did the carb calculations which I am keeping at 1/2 my baseline to see where I stand (315g)s, I'm not even close.  I calculated sweet and sour chicken, 2 cups white rice and the cookies to roughly 200g.  Probably less.  Thoughts? Here is my breakdown:Post workout shake5 p.m. Sweet and sour chicken w/2 cups white rice-106g carbs8-9, bake potatoe -37g carbs, 1/2 cup Ben & Jerry's red velvet, 30g and 5 homemade choco chip cookies-60gI don't know how much more I can fit.  LOL!  Suggestions?

Are you having dextrose in your shake? Pancakes with maple syrup are always an option.

Honestly, I haven't purchased dextrose yet.  I take GNC Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 Power.  It is a lean protein.  2 scoops/40g protein/6g carbs.  Should I add dextrose with this? I'm ordering some unflavored dextrose powder from BB.com tonight.

Ordered my dextrose tonight.  So I changed up my food tonight:4 p.m. Post workout shake5 p.m. Sweet and sour chicken/2 cups white rice7-9 p.m. 4 slices white bread w/4 TBS nutella, 1/2 cup Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey and 5 homemade choco cookiesBrought me to 296g carbs.  I was striving for 303, so not too bad.  I had a hard enough time getting those two cups of rice down.  My BL nights will me right around 300g carbs.
