I like to use my smoker a lot and make briskets, shoulders and butts.  During ULC days and for protein meals/high glycemic BL nights, is smoked brisket ok?  On the BL nights I would use sauce, but not on ULC.  Thanks.

I have brisket a lot on ULC days. Just make sure there's no sugar in your rub or if you are ordering it ask for it without rub.

Thx.  I figured that was the main rule of thumb to ensure no sugar in the rub.  I always brine my brisket first anyways to add more flavor.
