So I am on day 10 of my prep phase, and I am still alive! Some days seemed a lot harder then others but was proud that I stuck to it. I fluctuated between 5-7lbs lost, but from what I understand the prep phase loss is mostly just water and its main function is to get your glycogen levels to where they should be to commence the CBL phase. So a little about myself, I am 37, have a 1 year old daughter. Used to do a lot of olympic style lifting before I had my daughter to train for a firefighter competition that I was in, but just recently started back into heavier lifting. My brother-in-law told me about this book so I decided to give it a try. I have done low carb for 5 days here and 5 days there, with clean eating. This book intrigued me I thought why not give it a try. The hardest part for me is the lack of fruit:( Especially in the summer. I love fruit! And not spotted brown bananas lol! But to trade in fruit for ice cream, I think I can make the sacrifice 😉 I train in the mornings before work at 5am. I know its not ideal but it works for me. So tonight is my first night back on carbs 🙂 Going to have a potato with dinner (and of course some protein) then a late bowl of cereal before bed. I am hoping this program works for me. Wish me luck! Starting weight (after prep phase) - 140Goal weight - 135BF% - 18%
