apisula2000MemberSo I will be out of town for the long weekend and am determined to stay on point. My thought was for the ULC days to buy a rotisserie chicken from wal-mart or some other place. Thoughts? Or any ideas. I did smoke a brisket w/o sauce, and just brined and salt and pepper, so I can eat some of that also on ULC days. Friday will be my last BL for the week so the weekend is my fear. LOL!

All sounds good to me. If it comes down to it just eat carbs at night during the weekend. I plan on working out on Thursday for the hoilday in the morning and will follow a normal Backload day.... ULC until 3-4ish and whatever I want the rest of the night.

Yeah, Thursday is our ULC day. Which, honestly, I got no problem with that, since Wed night they are making enchiladas. Still gonna stay within reason. We will be working out early Wed and then have normal BL day, even though it won't immediately follow the PWO. Schedule will be off slightly, but will make it work. I hope!

apisula2000MemberWell, thank goodness that weekend is over. Although we didn't eat horrible and we did stick to the BL nights. We did stray a bit from the plan. Got back on track last night. Out of curiosity, I stepped on the scale last night and it is amazing how much water weight you gain if you stray. LOL! Plan on cracking down and getting back on track this week. Question, since we didn't follow the plan to the "T" over the long weekend, we were thinking of going easier on BL nights this week. Couldn't hurt right? Either way, my foods are clean and gluten-free.

I would either do some hiit and have your ULC days 100% clean.

Thx. I have my normal HIIT on Tues, Thurs and Sat. Should I have more? Also, I always ensure my ULC days are clean. This is my normal menu on ULC days:5 a.m. wake6-coffee with 1TBSP cocunut oil1130-8oz chicken breast or beef w/ 1/4C or less shredded cheese5 p.m-8 oz chicken, turkey or beefI should keep BL days normal? I always eat clean even on BL days for the most part. Still high glycemic, but rice, potatoes, gluten free pancakes. As the day is going on (Monday) I feel my wedding band getting loose again like before, so I think the bloating is subsiding.
