atomicusMemberWhat kind of weight change would you expect to see after about 4 weeks on CBL? Mine has pretty much remained exactly the same, so I'm starting to think I'm not getting enough carbs in during the backloads, despite some initial concerns I'd actually put on a tiny bit of fat around my midsection. My weight has pretty much remained static… it's wavered a bit (no more than a couple of pounds), but according to the scales in my gym, as of today, to the gram almost I'm what I was 3-4 weeks ago! I'm actually quite surprised given how much I've been eating these past few weeks. I've been hitting my macros pretty every day, and getting around 250-300g carbs on backload days. 😮

Richard SchmittModeratorIt varies person to person and what is consumed. +/-5lbs is always a good indicator of a healthy metabolism. Now if you jump +10lbs or something like that weekly you're doing something wrong or something is wrong.Personally my weight has constantly stayed with +/-5lbs

GnomerParticipantfor me over about 2 months of CBL i'm up about 5lbs but noticeably leaner as well.. i'm actually going to step carbs up a little bit.. But overall it really depends on your body type and goals.. for me i'm working on getting bigger and imho 2.5lbs in a month is very good considering I can tell i'm leaner as well

atomicusMemberI'd say overall my leanness has stayed largely the same, looking at pics I've taken. Definitely seen some strength gains, and bit of muscle in some areas I think, although this doesn't seem to be reflected in my weight.

scale can be a bad judge though for so many reasons.. water alone can make the difference of several pounds in just a day.. not to mention if you just carb loaded and so on.. i'd use the mirror to judge and adjust eating/trainig according to your goals
