Another possible stupid question regarding fat consumption.This is in regards to Appendix D the pre-carb macro calculator.The fat recommendations are for days that we are backloading right? Because I see fat at only 32.4 grams as a baseline for one who is trying to be at 175lb. This may be a detail I missed. My ulc portions of the day have been around the same for high fat content every day. High fat even on backloading days. This is a mistake right? This may be the obvious detail I've been missing
Yes that would be the baseline for pre workout. You'll have to adjust it in the PWO meals to reach the macro goal for the day. Now you can up the fats to meet the .5g to 1g (fats to proteins) for the ULC meals. That is a must, the fats can be higher.
It gets simple if you WO at the perfect time since u eat your fat macros before the WO qnd after it its just the fat fron your backload wich should not be high,I always eat 70 of the 90g of fat pre WO and the other 20 comes from the icecream on the backload 🙂
