Jasmine rice is extremely insulogenic, was that cooked or uncooked?

yea jasmine is pretty much one of the highest GI foods you can find.. basmati is the white rice with a GI around 50 not jasmine

Fuck. I just checked the GI of long grain white rice. It's a lot lower than I thought. I wish I didn't buy 3kg when it was on offer.

not all long grain rice has the same GIhttp://www.thekitchn.com/whats-the-difference-between-j-1-93814even here its 89http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/defining-low-medium-and-highglycemic-foods.html99 here showing a very high GL as wellhttp://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/the_glycemic_index_revisited

I dont sweat gluten.. I experimented with it off and on various times during an 8 month CNS cycle, now Im backloading 5-6x a week and notice no difference in appearance or performance with or without it.

Yeah some people will do fine with it, others won't. No definitive answer to the question if gluten free makes a difference… it's completely individualistic.

Just had a backload last night using jasmine…feeling my best the morning after since I started. Cooked a cup of jasmine, 4 tbsp of maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Really good stuff.

Yes! Your suggestion just made this CBL a whole lot doable for someone who isn't crazy about the junk. Thanks!

I will Try Jasmine Rice too, but you Need some fat in your Backload to hold your  blood Sugar under Control , Else you will probably wake up during the Night sweating , Heart will perhaps Beat like Crazy etc

i have a couple tablespoons of coconut oil during backloads.. also my last meal is usually 4 or so whole eggs so i end up with enough fat.. you can also cook the jasmine rice in some olive oil or coconut oil which is delicious
