Whats up everybody,So I had a question regarding food.I am a college student who simply put, loves his sleep. I am in a serving job that requires some nights I stay up until 230ish in the morning. I also tend to stay up late in general.I am wondering if I should still fast in the morning besides coffee if I am waking up in the 10am-11am range. I know Kiefer says that cortisol levels tend to sync with the day clock(which is why people who work at night need to black out their room while sleeping during the day), so I feel like it might be alright to not wait 3 hours? But, since I have been waiting until 2ish to eat any food, it is pretty difficult for me.Any insight on this matter would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

I would use the day as it fits to you. So if waiting a couple hours after waking is better go for it if not well work with what you can. I don't think it'll hurt.

I used to work 10:30am-7:00pm and I would wake up at 9:00am. I didn't eat until 12:45pm-1:00pm and I would have the AM shake at 10:30am.

You can use caffeine to set your circadian rhythm to your schedule and not the clock.. Just get some caffeine in ya after waking
