ZyahkoParticipantI usually make a pwo shake with 70cc of Whey Isolate (roughly 22.1 grams) then about 38 grams of creatine monohydrate and about a tablespoon of l-leucine with about 12~16oz of water. Well I have such a hard time downing the stuff that I don't look forward to drinking it after a workout and dread that part the most. I try to tough it out but I always feel like vomiting. Am I consuming the right amount of supplements in my pwo? Btw I'm using CNS and my weight is 262 lbs. with about 33% bodyfat. Thanks

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorYou could cut the creatine if you want, I'm sure that doesn't help. I'd also mix that in more water. Also, I've found shutgunning leucine to be the best method. Get some water in your mouth, dump it in and swallow.

TCBParticipantYeah I'd pull the creatine back to 5-10g and maybe go a little higher on the protein, with a bit more water.

I'd split the Creatine into smaller 5g dozes and spread throughout the day Leucine same principle, 3x servings of 5g PWOThose are the recommendations from the tube castsSent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2

I thought for CNS that you should only take leucine after a workout because otherwise it has the possibility of spiking insulin? Maybe I heard/thought wrong.

For CNS it should only be PWO.

ZyahkoParticipantSo creatine can be taken anytime during the day on CNS is won't cause a spike or anything in the insulin?

Correct.Just don't take it with caffeine, unless it's peri-workout. (No real harm, just wastes the effect)
