So sleep, the hormone factors surrounding it, and the importance of getting it ESP on your CN is talked about frequently. But what I haven't heard is a “recommended” or suggested time for sleep. Just came to me because I'm on a busy schedule for the fall semester and sleep hours go down during this time. Hoping that it won't mess with my progress/ results to much.
Check out some of Dr. Kirk Parsley's work… He mentioned a study on a podcast about something to the effect of getting only 6hrs of sleep for 11 days is the equivalent of not getting any sleep for an entire day.. I think he also advocates getting sleep whenever you can if you aren't getting full nights (8+ hours), so naps and things of the like.
Regarding your actual CN is what im interested in, not sleep in general. There seems to be some sort of importance in getting the right hormonal release which is why the eating window is timed right before bed. Wondering how much sleep is “needed” or “ideal”. Esp because im thinking these reactions wont actually start to happen until after your last meal is digested, which could be hours into sleep.
