Looking for suggestions on which protocol to choose from. CNS or cbl sa. Stats are 5'9, 177lbs and 15%bfish. Sorry this post is small but I had just wrote a long one and it somehow dissapeared. Have done CNS for 3 weeks and dropped about 10lbs but want to cut more fat while building muscle son contemplating a switch. My plan for CNS was simple as it says in the book but for cbl I'm looking to do 3100 cal, 500 surplus on lifting days and 2000, 600 cal dodo it on non lifting days. Lift/4-5 days, hiit/4-5 on off days or hours after lifting. So all in all in a weeks time i will be either at 200-700 cal surplus. Is this right? Please critique and don't hold back. I think I understand but I could be wrong. Give advice if you can please and what has worked for you. Oh yeah it'll be around 600g carbs on backload nights. That'll be my baseline starting then ill adjust accordingly.

Im getting ready to implement a protocol on myself that may interest you. Ill be posting my log Sunday night, and the first day of it will be Monday. Im leaner than you but my goals seem to be similar. Basically a lean recomp if im correct?Personally tired of ULC lifting and want to get bigger, while maintaining/loosing body fat (lean bulk). Ill be transitioning from CNS with two Backloads a week for a few weeks, then three for a few, then eventually going to every lifting day "4" a week. As far as calorie intake. I wouldnt suggest adding 700 calories a day to your diet suddenly. Your body will inevatbly store fat. That being said if you just do smaller backloads everyday, which will only raise your calories by a few hundred (i would suggest 200 and slowly build from there over a few weeks) it will more than likely go where you want it to go, muscle. Especially if your following CBL Protocol.
