Im stuck using an unusually crappy hotel gym this weeks, with no machines, and the dumbells only go to 50lb, and there is no barbell/smith machine.  The weights dont work terribly for arms, as the weight is perfect for pec flys and a few combined can work for pullovers, but tomorrow is leg day.  Is it possible to get the necessary tglut contractions for BL'ing squatting and lunging with a 50lb dumbell.

Eh not really no unless its real heavy for you. But if you're at a hotel, sounds like a vacation thus meaning just enjoy yourself! If for work…well gotta make due with what you can.

Do they have boxes? Or benches? Or something you can stack and safely stand on?If so:Box jumps holding DB's will give you a beating.. Or Bulgarian split squats.. or high box step ups holding DB's.. or stand on the box, let one leg hang, hold a DB and do pistols... Hmm. I think your best bet will be doing unilateral movements. Also:Single Leg deadlifts holding 2 50lb DB's would put a hurting on..Maybe some jumping lunges while holding DB'sHold the heaviest DB like a kettlebell and do kettlebell swingsPair some of those movements with some upper body stuff (your legs are gonna get shafted, but oh well)..

Can you do pistol squats? Say you are 180lb and you add 50lb dumbbell and use spare arm to for balance, that's 230lb on one leg. Equivalent to 460lb on both legs minus bodyweight 180lb = 280lb.  Unless 280lb squats are way too light for you, that should work.

I would just find a gym in the area and train there.
